MacOS Ventura update

MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 has been released as an update for Mac users running the Ventura operating system.

The MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 update includes bug fixes and security enhancements, making it a recommended update for Mac users running that operating system.

Software updates are also available for macOS Monterey and Big Sur, along with iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

How to Download & Install MacOS Ventura 13.4.1 Update

Always back up your Mac with Time Machine before starting any system software update.

  1. Pull down the  Apple menu and choose “System Settings”
  2. Select “General”
  3. Select “Software Update”
  4. Select “Update Now” for macOS Ventura 13.4.1 to download and install the update on the Mac

Rebooting the Mac is required to complete installation.

If you’re currently running MacOS Sonoma beta on the Mac, you will not see MacOS Ventura updates appear in the Software Update mechanism (unless you downgrade first, anyway).

If you’re running Monterey or Big Sur, you’ll find small software updates available for those versions of system software instead, versioned as macOS Big Sur 11.7.8 and macOS Monterey 12.6.7.
