Worried about the security of your MacBook or MacBook Pro? Reduce the chances of theft by slapping a cheap PC sticker over the Apple logo! This is pretty funny but there’s actually an element of truth to the joke, since Apple logos are easy indicators of high priced goods. I knew someone who plastered stickers … Read More
Don’t you hate it when your printer isn’t working? We all do, but if you’re in that situation here’s probably exactly what you should NOT do if your printer is toast. No, do not drag the monitor over to a copy machine, lay it flat on there (while keeping all the video cords connected to … Read More
Here’s your daily bad idea: shooting an iPad with a shotgun. Leave it to the internet for someone to shoot an iPad and record a video of the carnage. Interesting video in that ‘Myth Busters’ kind of way, but man, what a waste.
How’d you like to run Newton OS on your iPad, iPhone, or Mac? You can with an emulator, and it actually runs on your iPhone, iPod touch, and Mac OS X too. This is all done through an open source project called Open Einstein which now has a working iOS port. It’s not exactly an … Read More
This has to be the most repulsive gadget accessory I’ve ever seen. Straight out of Japan, it’s an iPhone charger made to resemble an umbilical cord that twitches, pulsates, and squeals as it charges your iPhone. I don’t know if it’s for sale (would anyone want to buy it?), but it’s the creation of a … Read More
This has to be the worst imaginable iPad car mount solution I have ever seen, which is exactly why it’s so funny. Mounting an iPad to your arm, seriously, can you come up with a worse idea?
You know those Motorola Droid commercials where a robotic voice says “Droid”, or more accurately Drooooid? Oddly enough, your Mac may have been the originator of this sound, and without any additional software you have the ability to play and save the sound yourself right in OS X.
Feeling nostalgic for a horrible crash-prone user experience and ugly GUI? How about putting the Windows 95 boot screen as your iPad background? It won’t make your iPad run Windows 95 (thankfully), but it sure looks dreadful enough.
This right here is a tiny horse, alongside a customer, in an Apple Store. Yes, I did a double-take too.
The Internet Explorer 9 beta is out now for testing, and a reader sent in this picture which is sure to disappoint Mac users all over: Internet Explorer 9 is not available to download for Mac, its for Windows Vista and 7 only. OK so sarcasm aside, I hear it’s actually pretty decent (for IE … Read More
People are doing all sorts of cool things with iPads, but this must be one of the more interesting projects I’ve seen. Using videos playing on an iPad and stop-frame photography, Dentsu London moved the device around in dark environments to create 3-dimensional words and animations. Instead of trying to explain it any further, you … Read More
Are you ready for a Steve Jobs joke? Of course you are! Ok, so this joke is a little corny, but who cares, because sometimes corny is good for a laugh, right?! OK here we go: Why does Steve Jobs always wear turtlenecks? Because suits have too many buttons. Get it? Oooooh boy. Corny, but … Read More
12 years of Steve Jobs… always wearing the quintessential black long sleeved shirt, jeans, and some sneakers. I love how laid back this guy is, can you think of any other CEO of a comparably popular company dressing so casually? He’s definitely got a distinct wardrobe, even when he visits Apple Store openings. By the … Read More
You know you’re an Apple addict when you start measuring time by the iPhone release cycles. I found this comic pretty funny, it looks like something out of a newspaper but I am unsure of it’s original source. Thanks to Daniel for sending this in!
President Barack Obama uses a MacBook Pro 15″ with antiglare screen, and it looks like the entire White House staff uses Macs too.
Do you like iPhone humor? Of course you do! So, here’s the corniest Apple related joke you’ll see all day, and maybe even all year. If you rename your iPhone or iPad to “The Titanic”, then guess what happens every time you connect the iOS device to a computer with iTunes and sync? Well, every … Read More
Want to quickly end a phone call on iPhone 4? No problem, just press this self-installed End Call button decal! OK I doubt this would work, and in fact it would probably prevent the bars and calls from dropping, but it’s amusing nonetheless. We just got this picture in our inbox, the sender didn’t provide … Read More
How’s this for the ultimate telecommuting setup: a MacBook Pro with a cellular modem… on a boat! This picture was sent in by one of our readers, unfortunately I don’t know where this is or what they do for work but I can certainly say I’m envious of this telecommuters office! Updated with a quick … Read More
