MacOS Ventura 13.3 Update Available to Download
The final version of MacOS Ventura 13.3 is available as a software update for all Mac users running the MacOS Ventura operating system.
MacOS Ventura 13.3 includes bug fixes, security enhancements, and new Emoji icons for use on the Mac.
Separately, Apple has released iOS 16.4 for iPhone and iPadOS 16.4 for iPad, along with software updates for watchOS, tvOS, and HomePod. Mac users running earlier versions of MacOS Big Sur and MacOS Monterey will also find security updates available to download.
How to Download MacOS Ventura 13.3 Update
First be sure to back up your Mac with Time Machine before installing any system software update.
- Go to the Apple menu, and choose “System Settings”
- Go to “General”, and then choose “Software Update”
- Click to “Update Now” for macOS Ventura 13.3 update
Your Mac must restart to finish installation of the update.
If for whatever reason you do not see the update as available, be sure your Mac has an active internet connection, and then hit command+r to refresh the Software Update settings section.
Mac users running Monterey or Big Sur will find security updates available to download instead.

-Accessibility setting to automatically dim video when flashes of light or strobe effects are detected

-Resolves an issue where Trackpad gestures may occasionally stop responding
-Fixes an issue where Ask to Buy requests from children may fail to appear on the parent’s device
-Addresses an issue where VoiceOver may be unresponsive after using Finder

Though not mentioned in the release notes, supposedly macOS Ventura 13.3 finally resolves the very annoying network sharing problem in macOS Ventura that has been widely experienced, where network shares were unavailable without a series of hoop-jumping workarounds.
Aside from software updates to the Mac, you will also find software updates for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Watch, HomePod, and Apple Studio Display.
this update fixes Calendar’s inability to sync with Exchange, a serious failing in Ventura (at least for me/my organisation) so far…
It took three times to get the new macOS Ventura 13.3 to even download. Each time it downloaded it I would get an error.
Monterey update available also.
